His grimace indicates to me that he is going to be admitting his mistakes and letting others pay the price to put those mistakes right again.

Basically, I don't think this will be a meeting where he gets to thumb his nose at the Aes Sedai, who for better or worse, have for the most part been trying to act as a bastion of order in a world where justice and order was breaking down.

I believe that he is essentially going to tell her that he can't worry about the Seanchan or the Black Tower anymore. Perhaps even the Forsaken fall by the wayside. I'm thinking that he is concentrated on his mission and understanding that his presence holds back the Dark One's touch but not so that he can directly contend with that evil power.

This might include refusing to act as their servant or possibly even working with the Aes Sedai to fight the forces of the Shadow, so perhaps you will get some version of your wish - I just don't think he'll be telling anyone off.
