Jumping the gun a bit aren't we? Seems mental to make any judgements based on about 3 pages of text right after his ephiny, he's realised how he has to go about things now, but it doesn't make what he has to do any easier.

Rand in a good mood twists the pattern and causes Rafonauts to kill themsleves... jebus. Cant see the benefit of judging Rand's "new" character until he's spoken to someone who isn't a farmer he's never met before.
