I posted this idea on Dragonmount also, but I think it is possible that we see the revival of the Green Man before the end of the Last Battle.
Loial preserved the Green Man as a tree in the middle of the Blight. Rand knows where this tree is. Rand could easily make this tree bear fruit again. Could that fruit be a new Green Man?
I think chapter 1 shows one of Rand's new focuses will be to counter the DO's taint. However, Rand can't be everywhere at once. The revival of the old seed songs may be very important in countering the DO's taint. Groups like the Tinkers, the Ogier, and the Aiel may be vital. These groups, of course, would be much more powerful if they worked together with a Green Man.
I think it is quite possible that the Green Man will be resurrected, and that old songs will be sung again.
