im worried, i read it and to be honest as short as the chapter was what happened there in could have been put into one paragraph.
the wind blew for half a chapter and rand stood in a room looking out the window at some flags reminiscing, some other characters came in sipped some wine and said nothing has changed. Rands reminiscing got out of hand and he shouted. the end!
There was nothing new given in this chapter. As a piece of written work it did not run smooth and felt under worked. As someone said earlier it read like a piece of fan fiction, some one who drew his characters fairly well but really did not know how to move them. I forgive all this and am willing to turn a blind eye because it was recap!! There was no spoilers in truth, just characters going over old lines being stereotypical in every way, shape and form! I don't mind that even, in fact i'm willing let that go as a reader because yes two writers are at work here, one that was very ill when writing and the other a voice we do not know but still it leaves me worried!
Will this continue....i hope to god not and from what i hear Sanderson is not one to leave characters doing nothing. I truly hope this is so! Maybe that's why chapter one was for free, nothing really given just preview...i hope so!

I think Lews Therin's comments to Rand were the most hugely significant part of the chapter.
