Let's face it. They've never been all that bright, but recently their intelligence has been dumb down to such absurd levels to make Egwene look good. I understand the plot/writing necessity of it (or perhaps it was unintentional), I'm just stating that the WT Aes Sedai are stupid, which evidently, they are.
