Do we now what day this attack took place on? I'm wondering if there's any chance that the suldam & damane that Rand sent back to Ebou Dar are on the road at this time. It would be interesting if they were caught up in the battle and helped some of the soldiers escape to the city, or if they were killed and unable to relay Rand's message to Toun.
