... what about the so-called "Land of the Madmen." If any nation were to fight for the Shadow, I think the strongest case could be made for this savage, off-the-beaten-path place.

Just idle speculation that I'd put very little stock in.


The Land of Madmen is a potential source of chaos for Demandred. He could unleash them on Rand, I suppose, much like you release rabid dogs. Unless of course they are just misunderstood, and Demandred managed to rule and organise them. It still seems unlikely though.
