I was being conciliatory by saying that in the end we are all just making predictions and that we won't know whose are right and whose are wrong until all is revealed. Your theories are as valid as mine until that point.
Alright, sorry about the misunderstanding. But when you're debating point by point, and the other poster doesn't do that and instead gives a quote from RJ about how two thirds of the theories in this board are wrong, I think they're implying that all my arguments count for nothing and that my theory is wrong.
Why do you react with such emotion to my Forsaken related comments in any case?
What emotion? Sure, I was sarcastic about some of your points, but I'm just arguing vigorously, not insulting you or feeling angry that you think differently.
If you aren't asking me to "take my blinders off" in a somewhat antagonistic fashion, you're claiming I'm categorising your comments as "ludicrous" when I was doing nothing of the sort.
Well, I said to take your blinders off because Demanded's greatness has been one of you pet themes for a long time. I'd have said the same if Siddy had twisted a scene to fit his views on Lanfear, and would have accepted it if someone said the same when I did it to make it look as if Graendal were greater than she is.
It seems you get a bit hot under the collar when people don't agree with you. My advice would be to acknowledge that there are differing points of view and that each of us feels we know the books fairly well at this point in time.
When have I not acknowledged that? Seriously, if a strong argument on my part indicates to you that I don't like disagreement, you're completely off base. When people make completely ridiculous posts where there isn't any sense at all, I usually don't respond.
