It's been stated multiple times that 'angreals count as a multiplicative of the channelers strength. Angreals double or triple channeler strength. So you want me to believe that Cyndane is as strong as the second strongest channeler alive, times 2?

I'm calling shenanigans.

They were on equal footing because Cyndane knows how to duel with the power, whereas Alivia just knows to stand in one place and blast away.


Sidious is being a bit difficult today. He actually meant what you said, but apparently did not feel the need to elaborate.

You are entirely correct. Jordan said that it was Cyndane's superior knowledge that allowed her to stand toe to toe with Alivia, despite being overwhelmingly outmatched from a strength perspective.


Its the same. Cyndane's skill made her equal to Alivia's greater raw strength, which is exactly my point. It implies that Egwene and Aviendha combined need to be much greater in raw strength to face one of them.
