Think of the atomic bomb. I think it require a fairly good amount of imagination to created an engine of destruction.
Although, nuclear fission - breaking elements apart - is a lot less difficult than nuclear fusion - creating higher elements.
Or creating massive amout of energy which has a much bigger destructive power
But that energy can be harnessed through photosynthesis, enabling life
.LOL I guess we will run in circle! Fusion is also what destroys stars, depending on its size (medium size and higher) like our sun, the fusion process will eventually merge element into Iron and when that happen, BOOM Supernova thus destroying all of the solaire system.
But that process, will release key elements to forming other stars, until they died as well. That process will end when galaxies run out of hydrogen. Thus ending the universe. Until gravity, and by the theory that our universe is circular, all dead matter merge again. Circle witout end, Ying/Yang, Life/Death, Creation/Destruction. Both different yet equal, for taking one over the other is just a question of perception. For there is no creation without destruction and no destruction without creation.

Honestly, I'm more curious about the "Dragon-only" barrier that surrounded it
