It's fan fiction, but it's cannon fan fiction

I feel a bit guilty, since its not the same, but I'm glad we have something. Good points on the meeting. She's not the most complex character, but I think Sanderson handled Moghedien well (she's always been Ms. Exposition after being downgraded as a threat in TSR).
Not really the place for this, but I enjoyed seeing Sandersons Talmanes. I think his Talmanes would ave been a great foils to RJ's Mat...
I downloaded the Prologue for AMOL, which you can all now purchase at Dragonmount.
In summary, the following has happened...
1. The chapter is from Moghedien's PoV where she goes to meet with the other Forsaken in a world made up by Moridin that is only half TAR, and the other half altered reality.
2. Moghedien has been freed of her captivity by Moridin and wears the mindtrap around her neck. She is paranoid about its safety.
3. Moghedien says that Cyndane is still Moridin's captive and she notices the Mindtrap around his neck. Cyndane is not at the meeting, nor does she arrive later. She confirms that Lanfear had been captive of the Finns and that they had fed on her ability. Moridin rescued her and killed her, both to rescue her and as punishment.
4. Demandred arrives, and as usual complains that he has been summoned. He notices that Moghedien has been freed. Moghedien once again confirms that she doesn't know what he is up to, and the chapter does not reveal where he is or whom he commands. Moghedien states that Demandred is held in very high esteem by the Dark One.
5. An old and very ugly woman joins them who Moghedien doesn't recognize and who is very strong in the Power. They gasp when they realize that it is Graendal, who is now presumably reborn as Hessalam, meaning 'without forgiveness'. Moghedien laughs at her.
6. Moridin confirms that they are all that remain of the Chosen. Mazrim Taim joins them and Moridin states that he has been raised to Chosen. Hesselam is scandalized but Moridin silences her.
7. Moridin assigns Moghedien to assist Demandred in preparation for war, and that if she complains he will make her feel pain like she has never known. Moghedien sulks.
Overall it was a very informative chapter, if you think about it. We now know that none of the Chosen will make a return. It's safe to say that Aginor, Sammael and Mesaana will not resurface and that there are five primary Forsaken for the end battle (with Taim now officially one of the Forsaken).
Moghedien is free of the mindtrap and she explains what happened to Lanfear in a few lines, but also in full. Lanfear is still not free of her slavery and torture. It seems as if Graendal was killed by SH, or after he dealt with her and placed in an old and ugly body. That, or some complex illusion is on her, though I doubt it. Graendal seems to have retained her character and power, and isn't a wreck like Mesaana was after SH dealt with her.
Demandred remains as mysterious as ever. There is even the insinuation that Moridin himself doesn't know what Demandred is up to - and Demandred says that he will discover in due time and be shocked at what he's accomplished.
As a final personal note, I find the style pretty bad. You will be stunned at the constant repetition of facts throughout these chapters. Yes, we hear again that Demandred has a hooked nose and is handsome. We hear again about the mystery of Cyndane, how crazy Ishamael was and how Demandred hates Lews Therin. It will leave you pretty nauseous if you think about how little we need to be reminded of these facts again and again. I didn't enjoy the style and found it almost amateur, if that isn't too offensive to say. It didn't remind me of any of the previous Forsaken chapters written by Jordan. Some of the metaphors are very weak and the Forsaken personalities are poorly captured.
