You don't even think LTT was impressive. Your standards are too high.


My standards are high because I think I base them on real people.

I don't believe it when someone says "That person is the best person in the entire world!" because I embrace mortality and the experience that comes through joyfully taking part in the sufferings of the world. Uh, that sounds poetic.

What I mean to say is I base my standards on believability, and I frankly can't believe it when someone just tells me that an individual is a paragon of perfection. I'd rather read about humans rather than heroes or gods.


But no one has ever claimed that about Lews Therin. All we know about him is that he was the First among Servants. We also know that he was a powerful channeler, and a very good man. The Forsaken hate him and mock his soft heart, and good deeds. He was just an all-round good guy... I've rarely met anyone who said he was perfect.
