I always thought once Nynaeve healed the others of stilling, that it meant if Setalle spoke to the right people she would be able to be healed as well. Shame that it isn't the case.

Being burned out has no cure. The Companion says Nynaeve wasn't able to heal Setalle. Not that any of this seems to be a factor in Egwene's decision.

Fair enough, given those were the options, then yes I think either option was valid, and the option chosen the best thing for everyone involved, and the more selfless, especially as there is now potential that being burned out can be cured. I think I can see why Cannoli has a differing view on this one, but can't agree with him myself on this one.

I assumed it would be possible too ... But Nynaeves healing required the conduits still exist. Burning out seems to be a total destruction of the meta-physical connections used by channelers to sense and touch the Source
Yeah, makes sense unfortunately.
Makes me wonder if it would be possible to 'transplant' the ability to channel though...
