I'm sure if I were to point out that Verin, someone even he is forced to respect to some extent, said that she was surprised and amazed at how well Egwene has done for herself, and that Egwene had riled up the Blacks, he'd call Verin an idiot, and say Egwene sucked anyway.
That is an inherently fallacious argument from authority. Why don't you point out a place where I ever claim a character is great or flawed because of another character's assessment. Secondly, what is Verin saying, other than noting Egwene's success? Anyone could see how far she had come. That does not make her any less of a scumbag. It is Cannoli here, not Sidious. You need more than success in gaining rank to mean anything to me.

He'll forget the fact that a book ago, he was claiming that Egwene was the greatest gift to the Shadow. But when she single handedly starts reversing the damage Mesaana and Alviarin have done to the Tower, and suddenly anyone could have healed that damage, and what she said was only common sense and not praiseworthy.
Yes, she does improve herself in this book. But her taking action anyone could take is not inconsistant with what I had said about her previous actions. There is absolutely nothing inconsistant, and the two things you cite have nothing to do with each other, nor are they mutually exclusive, EVEN IF they were true.

I'm sure you'll be reading this Cannoli. So let me just say this... not one of the main characters has achieved anything without fortuitous circumstances and luck. All of them have their birth and associations to thank for for some major successes. It is telling that you seek to blame only Egwene for this.
I blame Egwene because that is all that she has to go on.
