However, there is no way that BS wouldn't have figured that it might be Graendal. He isn't an idiot. On the other hand, it's not that easy to find all the clues from the books before LoC to determine that Slayer was the killer.
Therefore Graendal is pretty much ruled out. As I often pointed out, the theory anyway didn't make much sense, once you really think Asmo's murder through.
That last bit would be more convincing if you offered anything resembling an argument in support of it. And as for Graendal being ruled out, no, she's really not. All this does is ruling out the more unlikely suspects. Slayer, Graendal, Lanfear, perhaps even Taim all have enough support and adherents that "oh, those guys were right" makes sense as a reaction.
Sometimes make fun, because it makes them more lively..

However, I often pointed out the the pro-arguments for Slayerdunnit and the contra-arguments for Graendal. I actually posted a theory on the WoTmania Theory Post, where I compared Slayer vs. Graendal and came to the conclusion that the killer was most likely Slayer. Alas, the TP is gone.
Another blow to the Graendaldunnit-theory

I don't see any reason the Graendal theory is wrong from that.

So maybe Graendal didn't care enough about Asmodean, either.

If Graendal's name is mentioned, then "Graendal" is in the book. *NM*
