If, like Asha'man means not just any guardian, Sedai means "servant" but in the sense of one who serves the will of the Pattern, or one who serves the Light/Creator, I doubt the AS would mind. Being called the Servant of the Pattern implies a much much higher statis than the common people who are mere threads in the Pattern.
