Could you please start at the beginning and tell me why a female Forsaken was involved in this scene?
From what I've read, and from Brandon's answers, SH arrived and did what he could and then he got Elza to go what he could not. It was those two alone.
Someone taught Elza AoL weaves enabling her to perform the tasks for SH, and someone figured out that she was under a Compulsion. We know SH in the past could not tell the difference between weaves so unless he's got a whole new array of abilities (which I acknowledge as possible), only one of the female Forsaken could have been responsible for Elza's knowledge.
Graendal is IMO the most likely since she's already in the area, is attached to Compulsion and was previously given orders to bring Rand pain ... this would seem like just another piece to that...
... if it's proven to us that SH can teach weaves, you'll drop the whole Graendal thing? I think that's the case. He can cut people off from the One Power - he must have other abilities.

Yeah, as I said elsewhere, would be a nice question for BS, if there was another Forsaken. *NM*
