Why would Graendal want to make it dissappear after delving? How about the lack of an evidence trail. As per the removal of simple compulsion and its side effects....we're talking Graendal here. She is the only one in the entire series who is regarded as having a *Talent* for Compulsion. Even the other Forsaken know and acknoweldge this. To underestimate her ability with it is foolish. Do you honestly think that Graendal couldn't make a specific Compulsion weave which would do what she wanted, and then dissipate and have no affects afterwards?
Actually, your theory DOES imply that Graendal wanted Rand to come there, because otherwise she would have used the same weave on Kerb to ensure that Nynaeve never discovered that he was under Compulsion.
In fact, the entire theory falls apart when you consider that Delving isn't instantaneous; if the weaves break down or unknot, Nynaeve WOULD have sensed them doing so. Otherwise as soon as she touched Ramshalan's mind it would appear that he was NOT under Compulsion.
So your name is Graendal....
