Harry was so whiney, I just wanted to smack him. But when I reread it, I liked it a lot more. There was much more to the book than just Harry pouting, and also felt that upon a second read his situation was much more understandable ... I think I read an interesting thing JKR had to say about it once. Someone asked her why Harry would blow up at his friends like that, and she responded with something along the lines of "he doesn't have parents to do that with, so he does it to his friends instead." Interesting.
