Please. That happened one time, with one ebook manufacturer, and they've since apologized and made reparations of some sort. I forget what they did. Refunded maybe? I don't know. And yes, you can blame the apology on public fallout, that's fine (and likely accurate). All in all, though, this was a very isolated incident, and it's a bit silly to blame total ebook popularity on something so tiny, even if you aren't entirely serious. It just was not a big deal.
