I thought Aragorn's healing hands came from the Elessar stone, which was given to him from Celebrian by agency of Arwen? Therefore, Arwen could have easily had the healing hands =P
What do you base that on?
In most versions, the Elessar was made by Celebrimbor and it was his greatest work aside from the 3 rings. It is supposed to capture the beauty of light filtering through leaves. Galadriel wore it for quite a while before giving it to her daughter, and she did some miraculous things with it if I remember correctly. Regardless, here is some information on the stone:
It was said that it also held unusual properties. Looking through it, the viewer could see an injured or aged thing or person as in the original state of beauty and youth. Also, the wearer's hands could bring healing from injury. In a later version, this power extends over the land as well. In yet other versions, this power over the land lies instead in the Silmaril or in the three Elven Rings. This idea of healing may have been involved when it was said that the hands of the king would be the hands of a healer - the power may have been augmented by or derived from the Elessar.

That's the point, though. Arthur's humanity is what makes him so admirable.

There isn't an "actual book." Le Morte d'Arthur is a relatively early compilation of legends. *NM*

Mostly, yes, but there are a few exceptions - Galadriel, Eowyn, and above all Luthien.
