that's why it's a theory.


"Theory" has a specific scientific definition that has no relation to the commonly-used meanings of the word such as "opinion", "speculation" or "guess".

The phrase "theory of evolution" doesn't refer to a dismissing of evolution itself being "just a theory", but refers to theories of how and why evolution happened.


Yeah, there's no way anything is ever 100%. There is no way to be absolutely certain of anything, in the real world. Sadly, so many people refuse to live there.
