For one thing, it's kind of hard to have a typical debate about creationism when there aren't any creationists replying to the thread. :P

I do actually happen to subscribe to Intelligent Design, not really a big 6000 year person, but relativity proves that under the current model their are parts of the universe which are much younger than others, and odds are some of those are 6k.

No, I don't see why any creationist would show up, these days the whole conversation involves some people calling other people stupid. Actual 6k creationists have an unbeatable argument:

I believe in God, I believe the bible was inspired by Him, I believe He is omniscient and omnipotent. Much evidence indicates the world is much older, I believe that science has often been wrong, and I also believe my omniscient and omnipotent super-being is quite capable of making the world in 6 days or 6 seconds and laying whatever evidence is necessary to indicate otherwise. I also think he might have done this just so we could learn science, since we might get stuck at the gate if confronted by a 6k old world manufactured from the void. Presumably, for the same reasons he keeps an eye out for any quantum phenomena that might transmute random heaps of garbage into golden statues of calves or make it rain individually wrapped snickers bars because faith only goes so far. It's hard to get too far with study when random quantum BS or supernatural things inserted in the background. Remarks complete

Not much room to argue with that, other than "I disagree". You also can't really mobilize a verbal offensive off that either, since you could just as easily substitute "Galactic Super Toad" or "Flying Spaghetti Monster" for "the God of Abraham". So you get what we have here, except if some troll shows up to scream about heresy or how God is a manipulative delusion. Essentially a series of arguments revolving around whether or not a journalist's movie review was a piece of crap or not.
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.
