The fact that this guy Athanasius basically came up with a list of everything acceptable, and that no one has disputed it by bringing back something he dismissed.
Mostly just because there are so, so many flavors and interpretations of Christianity. It seems almost unreal that no one back in the 4th century would have disputed his list by going "Hey! You forgot this one!"
