Where did she say she wanted people to get a disease? What I read is they would be getting so food from home which is hardly the same thing as wanting them to be infected. I guess if you just start making shit up it is easy to find offense.
I don't think it was that offensive - I've commonly heard far worse than that from xenophobes, it's just not something someone expected to adhere to the values of the Olympic movement can afford to say publicly. And yes, what's expected of olympic athletes is exacting in every way, and it's not a bad thing in my view.
Am I the only one who thinks Voula Papachristou should not have been kicked out of the Olympics?
