I think it's this way for most men really. Not sure how it is for women. I think after some time it's really hard to get excited by your spouse.
OTOH it could be you need to examine your marriage more closely. Maybe change something, maybe couples therapy could open something that's locked inside.

I'm going to therapy with my girlfriend and it's been good mostly.

EDIT: some things don't translate well to english.
