Funny how people rarely hate a minority group when thousands of miles away from any of its members. No US examples comes to mind, but only because the Great American Melting Pot has a li'l bit o' everyone, which is bad for bigots but good for everyone else. And, let us be honest: There will ALWAYS be bigots everywhere, who—even in the most homogeneous places—will ALWAYS find SOMEONE just different enough to hate.
