"ObamaCare" certainly doesn't even begin to go in that direction. I think a lot of Europeans are inclined to support Obama's health care legislation because they think the US would get something closer to the European system, but that really isn't the case. This new legislation merely tries to patch some of the worst aspects of the American system, most notably the large number of uninsured, but does so without much fundamental reform and without doing much to rein in the towering costs of the American system.
