i remember cackling like a maniac letting one loose on a line of golbins in a corridor in the irenicus' dungeon only to be like shiiiiit as it bounced back and almost wiped out my party.
you have to be some sort geometry genius to safely use those
Just have to remember how it works and start it at the right place, but I guess I got used to doing that with the old Gold Box TSR games (I could not get used to it from tabletop because I always played thieves and rangers.)
