There's little doubt the Supreme Court will overturn the 9th Circuit, but you see how much resistance there is.
We can amend immigration forms without Congressional action to include all sorts of questions about ideology, like "Do you believe that all people are entitled to equal rights regardless of sexual orientation?" (we probably already have that).
The limitation there is that we can only kick them out if we can prove that AT THAT TIME they were lying, which is why you put it in every visa application, every green card application or renewal, and every naturalization application.
Then, if there is evidence they lied, you can get rid of them. Denaturalization is the hardest, but it is possible and can be done. Of course, there's a further problem that often it's the children (as in Manchester) of the immigrants who are the worst. They don't feel at home in their native country and want to prove they're more Catholic than the Pope, so to speak, with respect to their heritage. Not permitting ghettoization might be another step that would help reduce this problem.
