The problem is that not everyone can be team lead. There are always going to be people who, through no fault of their own, are stuck at the bottom. That's just the nature of work. There aren't enough jobs at the top.

I really don't think I'm all that radical. Most of my problems with labor go away once people who are trying their best are guaranteed shelter, necessities, and healthcare. It doesn't have to be glamorous. I'm not arguing that people have a right to iPhones. But we're in a society where people are having to choose between paying the healthcare bills and paying the rent, and that's pretty messed up. Especially in the most powerful nation in the history of the planet.
