Just like cancer--it's natural, so it can't be bad. Ghavrel Send a noteboard - 13/09/2017 12:37:16 AM

I mean, how could we let anyone suffer by having the body they are genetically and biologically predisposed to? That would be terrible.

We should stop giving women with a high risk of breast cancer regular mammograms and just let them have the body they're genetically and biologically predisposed to. Same with LASIK, contacts, and glasses. People with bad eyesight should just deal with the body they're genetically and biologically predisposed to.

There are decent arguments against transition. The one you just gave is not among them, in part because people with dysphoria generally report higher life satisfaction after transition.

"We feel safe when we read what we recognise, what does not challenge our way of thinking.... a steady acceptance of pre-arranged patterns leads to the inability to question what we are told."

You say my argument isn't good, so you rebut with... that? - 13/09/2017 02:01:04 AM 576 Views
Are you familiar with the suicide rates of people experiencing dysphoria? - 13/09/2017 02:10:44 AM 511 Views

I wouldn't care, either, if not for the demand for official recognition. - 13/09/2017 03:41:34 PM 630 Views
What are they asking for that bothers you? *NM* - 13/09/2017 04:07:19 PM 303 Views

So your suggestion is to keep the suicide rate staggeringly high. Excellent solution. - 13/09/2017 11:03:42 PM 550 Views

Don't allow them to maim themselves. It's that simple. I don't get why you don't get it. - 14/09/2017 03:18:20 AM 582 Views

I missed that part.... - 13/09/2017 07:00:17 PM 459 Views

Because it's not wrong...? - 15/09/2017 05:53:24 PM 485 Views
