Well, it is actually possible for a lynch to take place without me voting for it, though I'm not sure I want to deal with that analogy coming up if ranagrande turns out DF considering the last and only time I didn't vote for our twilight result was when I defended you in game 7. I'm not by any means convinced he's innocent, or that his comments don't indicate guilt, but without something else to correlate them to, no, I won't vote for him as things stand. I wish circumstances hadn't pressed me to defend him, normally it's how someone defends themselves more than what they are accused of that helps me find DFs, or roles and SKs for that matter.

It's difficult for me to imagine ranagrande and beet being allied, but that is the sort of impulsive tactic newer DFs might try, and both are newer and seem more impulsive than average. So yes, I'll keep it in mind. I won't further interfere with your probe on ranagrande, if you wish to continue with it, though unless he says something more suspicious I doubt that I will join a vote on him, I do not want to be tied to another bad lynch so soon after the last one and even in the worst light I don't see his comments as negative enough to indicate a better than 50/50 chance. Based on prior events I think if I joined even at the very end and he turned up town people would imply I'd tricked them into voting for him, heck they might even do it if I don't vote for him, wonderful lose-lose.

ALternatively, I do view beet with heavy suspiscion, especially now that I've begun reviewing the two side games in preparation to generating an archive, his behavior in the Hieshyn-game, in which he was a DF with you and ranagrande IIRC - I had thought rnagrande was a vig from comments in this game but I guess that was NApoleon, seems to parallel to his current behavior, and doesn't seem to square with his 'naive townie' image in this game. I think, to lower my suspcions on him, I'd need to see evidence from when he was a townie in which he seemed to engage in behavior on par with now, short of that, he seems to be sowing chaos, via not-so-subtle accusations aimed at multiple targets... whether it's a deliberate strategy or an accident, I can't say for sure.

In fact, we who weren't in that game should probably look it over more, and as the other member of the DF trio you're in a better position to speak of how ranagrande and beet act as DFs, since you would have been seeing their comments with certain knwoledge, whereas it's less obvious after the fact to townies who were in the game, and certainly those of us who weren't in it can't say. I guess that is probably what I'd need from you to sway me over to vote for ranagrande, evidence and commentary from that game that indicates his current behavior parallels his previous behavior as a DF, ditto beet of course, and really I should have thought of it before, but I had never even looked at those games till just he last couple days and today's the first time it even crossed my mind that either of them was in there, it was tricky just figuring out who the roles were since Hieshyn didn't post a listing at the end of the game. The only reason I think I even noted it is I had to scavenge around the thread trying tofigure out who was who.

Well, there we go, I charge you in particular and anyone else from that game to go forth on this quest and show evidence that indicates parallels or lack thereof to either's current play. As I've said for a long time, it's never really trying to figure out how a DF would act, it's about trying to figure out how a given player would act if they were a DF.
