...is that I felt the creators decided the new trilogy will reference the prequels as little as possible, for various reasons. And Plagueis is this big boogie man Sidious used to turn Anakin, as we all know, which makes him a pretty substantial part of the prequels without ever showing up. So I have my doubts, but of course I could be entirely wrong. I actually like Paul's idea that he does not really exist beyond the holo, or there is a Wizard of Oz thing going on here. Which I'd love because I wasn't too fond of his look. Either way, they're gonna need a really good reason why this ancient guy did not play even the slightest role in the OT!
