Ya know, I don't care for Cruise's religion one bit, and I think he is wierd and batshit crazy. But that doesn't stop me from watching his movies.

I don't like James Woods, because of some of his politics, but that doesn't stop me from watching his films either.

Everything I've ever heard about James Cameron as a person (not his performance as a filmmaker) tells me that the guy is an ass and a jerk, and most people who work with him hate to work with him again. But that doesn't stop me from watching his films.

I don't the Governator's politics, but I watch his movies. I don't like Mel Gibson's religion either, but I still watch his movies.

Get the point? A movie isn't just about the people playing the roles (it isn't even usually PARTLY about that, with rare exceptions), so I don't understand why people let that color their opinion of the movies.

Pure silliness.
