How this is in any way relevant to the subject at hand escapes me, however. It is quite clear that the Forsaken had defective character from the onset, otherwise they would never have turned to the Shadow in the first place. You shouldn't be surprised that these defects can be exploited.
But sure, they're quite good at killing people.
But sure, they're quite good at killing people.
Well if warfare was all about "being good at killing people" i'd agree, however it isn't so i don't.
On the relevance, i saw the argument that it was logical put forth, and my opinion is it might be logical for the time predominately covered in the book, however, these characters have been around a lot longer than that (a lot of it is dreamless sleep i know) but none the less when i extrapolate it back(what i learned), for me it dopesn't make sense in the AoL. I also cannot understand why Graendal didn't see it after years, after all it's clearly highlighted throughout the books, how accomplished she is at understanding the human psyche.
Merely how i see things. I didn't like the scene.
EDIT: to add i thought very few of the forsaken were used as weapons in the AoL, didn't 2 run spy networks? Sure deamandred and sammael ran armies, be'al after he turned, Aginor was a biologist, Asmodean was some sort of govenor. In fact the rest seem to have been govenors, mostly.
So sure they might have been good at killing people, but if they were that's not really how they were used, they weren't used primarily as weapons, so i'm not sure how being good at killing people would make them so dangerous then and so useless now.
