For god's sake, women like Kataring and Silviana, who are weaker than Moiriane, are able to shield Egwene with Egwene thinking there is no hope for her escape. No way is she twice as strong as Moiraine.


She says Egwene is as strong as Moiraine and Amys combined.

Amys is described as almost as strong as Moiraine.

That means Egwene is very close to twice Moiraine's strength.


Avi said Egwene could handle Moiraine and Amys in a fight. Similarly, Ewgene thinks if she holds the element of surprise, she can handle five Aes Sedai in the coach with her (in KoD). Doesn't mean Egwene's strength is five times the Aes Sedai's!


Aviendha tells Egwene that she is stronger than Amys and Melaine combined.
