Silviana asks both Katarine and Barasine to hold Egwene's shield at night. As time wore on, Egwene would be able to embrace more of the power, so if she was as strong as two Moiraine's neither of them should have questioned the order. Yet, Katarine says that Barasine alone would suffice. To which Silviana replies Egwene is tricky, not that she is too strong.

What is even more strong evidence against your argument is that Egwene thinks that as long as she can reach the source, she can tackle all five of the Aes Sedai in the coach with her. She even says she wasn't given a very strong dose!

Are you now going to argue that a woman who cannot break the shield of someone half her strength or less (according to your calculations) can somehow defeat five Aes Sedai in battle?


You're remembering a chapter you probably read some time ago. I've just read the relevant passages, and so should you.


In the exact quote I gave you it shows how she's sure she can start embracing saidar. It's mad to think she's at her full power at that stage.
