Not to mention the fact that he wasn't at his full strength yet, and may well have been growing in strength right up to the time he became one with Lews Therin on Dragonmount in Book 12.

You can't have it both ways. Strength is paramount, but it is not?

The point is that Lanfear's shield was strong enough to cut him off from the source. That and that alone is the point I'm making here. And he was, at this time, as strong as Asmo at least, and as strong as Rahvin for sure.
