When channelers link, they become stronger than they would have indiviudally. So, in my mind, by linking 3 regular Aes Sedai, together, they are able to be more than a match for Rand.


That is not correct. Rand said that no three regular Aes Sedai could threaten him unless one of them was Moghedien in a wig. He expressly says that no 3 regular AS are a match against him.
