With Aran'gar or Moridin's pets, besides being informed about what they are doing at the moment (Graendal doesn't even know in TGS that Aran'gar already left the Rebels for several days; it's possible that Aran'gar got another secret task by SH).
And as said, even if Graendal were, that doesn't mean that she would likely appear again in ToM. It was often the case in the books that a Forsaken had several potential plots or confrontations in the future, but due to the sudden death of this Forsaken those things became void.

She's been seen in any number of instances where she has no direct involvement! She's been directly involved with every other Forsaken... she knows most of their plans and could easily make a quick appearance in any number of plot lines without it being difficult. Hell there could be another FS meeting that takes place before her death just as easily as anything.
You are correct that there may be no reason for her to appear, that is certainly a possibility, but it's also possible that the actual Author disagrees and has reasons to keep her final death mysterious for now ... which IMO means she has a role yet to fulfill (that could have happened prior to her death), or we'd have gotten a "she's toast".

Graendal is part of several plot lines. Aran'gar at the very least is unseen in TGS, but involved

Again, there is no sensible reason for a scene where Graendal is shown again before her death. *NM*
