Probably not Sanderson 4th Dimension Send a noteboard - 23/09/2010 11:11:54 PM
It too much resembles a "mystery" that you'd find in a mainstream fiction. Something where it feels like the author holds back information just so he can smirk at you when he gives the final reveal.

it would have been a QUITE big change of story, AND it's not Sanderson's style.
Sure he likes to fill his novels with WHAM chapters and big reveals that completely change the situation, but he ALWAYS gives hints of them. You might not notice them when first reading the novel, but if you go back, you sure will. Not to mention he will go over them in his annotations.
