Well... you're correct, I guess. I really don't see much of a difference between the two tests, aside from some superficial ones.


Is that in the test for the shawl the Aes Sedai are participating in it. They are the one deciding what you'll face, not your subconscious fears.

The first tests you against yourself, the second tests you against your would-be peers.
