I suspect that our disagreement lies in our interpretation of what the lower tiers are capable of. As far as I'm concerned, male and female channelers are functionally equivalent - even if you take Linking into account (this is not as much as an advantage as it seems) or explore sex-specific special abilities (perhaps women can draw cold/moisture into their bodies without harm the same way men draw heat in?), but, correct me if I'm wrong, I think you still conceive of having a greater ability to handle a larger volume of Power as a gulf that is never quite bridged.

I think that men are a little stronger than women overall, if you take everything into account. I still think that channeling follows natural laws where males move independently and are powerful, whereas women move in groups and are less powerful. The most poignant quote comes from CoT where Sashelle wonders whether she and her Sister can handle the Ash'aman together. I think that adequately explains the average male-female relationship, which of course was based originally on Asmodean's statement on male-female strength.

At the highest levels there are males and females of very great strength, and that we agree on, but I still think that an average woman has almost no chance against the average man in channeling, much like in the physical world.
