With all of the seepage between Rand and Moridin it's only a matter of time until he starts gaining some of Moridin's memories, including the fact that Graendal killed Asmo.
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
