Just having motivation is not enough redhand Send a noteboard - 11/12/2009 03:52:40 PM
You know, Kings, Queens, Emperors have had motivation to seek the Fountain of Youth, and many did desperated seeked it. That does not mean anyone who failed is being an idiot.

Given today's technology, we say Human Growth Hormone can work to a certain degree, and it is available from urine of very young children. And it had been used as folk remedy for a long time, so there are hints. Does that mean those alchemists, which includes Sir Isaac Newton, who failed to discover and concentrate it are being idiots?

And the idea of torturing sisters to test her theory. I mean, wasn't that what the Nazi doctors were accused of doing, and being a war crime? Why don't we experiment on death row inmates, freezing them and then dethaw them to see what happens? Can we realy perserve someone for 1000 years by deep freezing them? To gain knowledge through inmoral human experiments would probably make Verin a true member of the Black Ajah, and make her unwilling to go to the Light.

If she did that, shouldn't she remain a BA, so she can gain more knowledge by doing more experiemnts on regular folks, like finding out how long a person can live with all his blood drained?

And does she know that Stilling breaks the Oaths? *NM* Fanatic-Templar - 09/12/2009 06:16:54 AM 578 Views
She should. Some of the Aes Sedai who swore to Rand had been Stilled and then Restored by Flinn. RugbyPlayingAshaman - 09/12/2009 03:18:10 PM 1198 Views
Then, wouldn't the BA/Shadow just kill her off? I think it'd be kind of obvious what she did. *NM* Fox and Ravens - 09/12/2009 03:23:05 PM 732 Views
I think that's beyond the BA's capabilities. RugbyPlayingAshaman - 09/12/2009 03:48:03 PM 1054 Views
Doesn't mean they experimented with it. Fanatic-Templar - 09/12/2009 08:48:23 PM 1094 Views
Rebels had no reason to research a way to break the oaths. Verin did. Datakim - 10/12/2009 02:00:21 AM 1202 Views
