I really liked how they showed Hermione wiping her parents' memories in the movie. That was a really touching moment that emphasized the sacrifice she made, which I think really gets skipped over in the book unless you stop and think about it though. That's typical Hermione though, carrying a huge burden without saying a word about it. Ron and Harry really would have been screwed in this book without her. She's a champ.

I thought that bit was very moving. And I agree about Hermione in general. She's really a very well written character.
