Josua Lackhand is a great fantasy King! imlad Send a noteboard - 09/04/2010 05:14:39 PM
I just don't know if I would put him above Aragorn. Above Arthur, yes.

Personally, I always like Arutha in Feist's Riftwar books.

I'd have to say that Targaryen king, the father of "Egg" in the Dunk & Egg stories, was pretty decent too. Some of the more lucid and sane Targeyens kings were pretty decent it seems.

Still, Aragorn is probably the one to get my vote, although I know there is somebody I am failing to recall. I'll figure it out (its been bugging me since I first read this post/thread, and I still can't think of who it is).
He's rather gloomy and not very hero-like for a fantasy king, but does extremely well under the circumstances.
Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.

That's the point, though. Arthur's humanity is what makes him so admirable. - 09/04/2010 06:59:07 AM 1429 Views
