Just wondering: do any of you have interesting, subversive-ish websites that you might like to share? I'm talking websites that have a anti-controlling structure, anti-corporation, or anti-anything else bent to them, that makes you question some of your most beloved beliefs. Two in particular that I enjoy:

adbusters.org -- anti-capitalist, anti-consumerist website, fairly well known, has introduced me to many French philosophers whose names I cannot pronounce and whom I would have never heard of otherwise. They do a print magazine as well, and I had a massive moment of dissociation when I read a very well thought out, compelling argument against globalization and deregulation of environmental protection, only to finish reading the essay and find out it had been written by Osama Bin Laden*.

http://vigilantcitizen.com/ -- the Vigilant citizen, most well known for its missives against popular culture and theories about Masonic foundations controlling or influencing society through symbols. The piece today is about the relationship between popular culture and Fritz Lang's Metropolis. It's an awesome read, highly recommended.

Well, it's Saturday night, which can only mean cheap vodka, board games, and arguments.

*If anyone from the FBI is reading this: every night before I go to bed I say the pledge of allegiance, patrol my neighborhood for terrorists or anyone else who appears "different", practice my water-boarding techniques, and drink a bud diesel while cursing the Belgians and their endless pursuit of Americana.
