When the story broke in the news at least in the US he was not constantly referred to as a left wing extremist. Yes it was discussed but we didn't get "left wing extremist is the unabomber headlines". I have no problem with them reporting that he was motivated by the European far right politics but splashing "right wing extremist" in the headline is misleading. In and of it self it wouldn't be a big deal but when you take into account the fact that the liberal media has been pushing the narrative that conservatives are dangerous radicals for years now it deserves to be challenged. Sort of like how we saw so much coverage of radical signs at tea part rallies but almost no coverage radical signs at union rallies even though it was teachers carrying the signs calling people Nazi.

So sorry I will continue to challenge the attempt to paint my political party with lies even if they do it by selective application of the truth.

If he had been a black man and the head lines all read "black man slaughters innocents" I think people might object even if it was true that he was a black man. Same as if he had been part of political party called the democartic but unaffiliated with the American democratic party and Fox kept referring to him as a democratic. That would upset the democrats here in the US. Well the right wing in Europe has nothing to do with the right wing in the US and we have to right to object to American media outlets who confuse the two. I really don't care what they call him in Europe.
